Voices of our Community

I was born in El Salvador and moved to the United States when I was 10. Now at 17, being here without my family makes me feel empty and lonely. However, meeting Veronica Robles and spending time at the cultural center, where I can experience a mix of cultures, has made me feel at home. Although living here is very different from El Salvador, Veronica’s support has helped fill that emptiness. I highly recommend signing up your children because it’s great for both their mental and physical health. I’m proud to be here with Veronica, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had.
