About La Cocina VROCC
More Than a Restaurant — A Space to Empower and Connect Through Food
La Cocina VROCC is a project of the Veronica Robles Cultural Center (VROCC) that combines food, culture, and entrepreneurship.
It serves as both a restaurant and a community kitchen that empowers young Latino entrepreneurs and local food makers to share their talents and traditions.
Through VROCC’s Cultural Entrepreneurship Program, participants receive mentorship, training, and resources to start or expand their culinary businesses — including catering services, food trucks, and small-scale production.
Workshops run from January through June, reducing barriers and creating opportunities for East Boston’s diverse community.
Located at 389 Maverick St, East Boston, MA 02128, La Cocina VROCC operates Thursday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
