Voices of community
"Veronica's passion and devotion to the profound importance of creating space for cultural activities--one's own and learning about others--is contagious. The team at VROCC makes it happen beautifully and with such joy. VROCC is also there for their community in times of need. Being there in the center of their neighborhood for good times and challenging ones. Showing up for all of it,"

The center has since become a refuge for those who teach and learn inside its walls. It is everybody’s cultural center. We all have access to the center to practice. We trust each other. We help each other. We take care of the center like it is our own home,” explains Sonia Castillo.

Valentina blossomed from a shy girl to one who radiated confidence through Ms. Robles’ dance classes. I wish that there was something like this growing up in the ’90s.” Claudia Basulto said about her 11 year old daughter, who has been a young dancer and leader at VROCC since she was 6 years old.
