Latino Heritage Awareness Project consists of a series of shows featuring folk dances presented by young Latino dancers of the Veronica Robles Cultural Center and Daniela Alarcón-Díaz student of high school with the aim of promoting and celebrating Latin culture.
The first presentation took place on Saturday, September 30 at the Veronica Robles Cultural Center in East Boston. The last presentation will be on October 14 from 2 to 4 pm.
Through these presentations the Latino Heritage Awareness Project offers the opportunity to the community to meet with other Latinos from different cultures to enjoy these beautiful dances and celebrate their identity and honor their cultures by reminding them of the importance of their origins and thus continue with the mission to rescue and promote the valuable Latin American heritage in Boston.
Latino Heritage Awareness Project consiste en una serie de tres presentaciones de danzas folklóricas presentadas por jóvenes bailarines latinos del Centro Cultural Veronica Robles y la estudiante de secundaria Daniela Alarcón-Díaz con el objetivo de promover y celebrar la cultura Latina.
La primera presentación se llevo a cabo el sábado 30 de septiembre en las instalaciones del Centro Cultural Veronica Robles en East Boston, concluyendo el 14 de octubre de 2 a 4 de la tarde.
Por medio de estas presentaciones el Latino Heritage Awareness Project ofrece la oportunidad a la comunidad de reunirse con otros Latinos de diferentes culturas para disfrutar de estas bellas danzas y celebrar su identidad y honorar sus culturas recordándoles con esto, la importancia de sus orígenes y así poder continuar con la misión de rescatar y promover la valiosa herencia Latinoamericana en Boston.
