Día de los Tres Reyes Magos (Three Wise Men Celebration)

¿Sabías que, según la tradición, los Tres Reyes Magos fueron guiados por una estrella desde el oriente para visitar al niño Jesús? Melchor, Gaspar y Baltazar llevaron incienso, oro y mirra al recién nacido. Este año el Centro Cultural Verónica Robles celebrará esta alegre tradición con chocolate caliente y rosca de reyes. No necesitas un camello para venir a acompañarnos.

Entrada Libre para adultos antes del 1ro de enero.
Despues del 1ro de enero se sugiere una donacion de $10 o lo que puedan donar

Tomen en cuenta que los niños que se registren despues del 1ro de enero tal vez no alcansen a recibir un regalo. Pero nuestro voluntarios siguen trabajando para ayudar a los Reyes a conceguir algun presente aunque sea sencillo.

An evening of networking, fun and celebrating women entrepreneurs from across the City of Boston!

Join City Councilor At-Large (and small business owner), Annissa Essaibi George for the third event in a series of events focusing on empowering women-owned small businesses in Boston!

For this event we are inviting all women small business owners operating and/or living in Charlestown, Downtown Boston, East Boston, North End, Mission Hill & Fenway to join us!

This will be a fun evening of networking, connecting, and celebrating Women-Owned Small Business month.

We will have a table for attendees to share their flyers, business cards, promotional swag…anything you would like to bring to promote your business is encouraged!

¡Pinta tu ofrenda de talavera!

Boston, Massachusetts, 22 de octubre de 2018 – Rainbows Pottery Studio y el Centro Cultural Verónica Robles (VROCC) invitan a todo el público a pintar sus ofrendas de Talavera.

Taller de Talavera, ¡Pinta tu ofrenda de Talavera!

Rainbows Pottery Studio (15 R Charles Street, Boston, MA 02114)

Fecha: 28 de octubre de 2018.

Hora: 11:00 am a 8:00 pm.

Costo: $40, incluye chocolate abuelita, una pieza para decorar, pintura, glaseado y horneado.

Los participantes aprenderán qué es la talavera y podrán pintar piezas de cerámica para usar en su ofrenda del Día de Muertos. Entre las piezas que podrán decorar se encuentran platos, mosaicos y floreros. Para amenizar habrá música mexicana y para combatir el frío, chocolate abuelita.  

Este año Raibows Pottery Studio y VROCC se han convertido en socios comunitarios. Por ello el 20% de lo recaudado será donado a VROCC para seguir ofreciendo programas culturales gratis o a bajo costo para la comunidad.

PAINT YOUR OWN TALAVERA PIECE!

Boston, Massachusetts, October 22, 2018 – Rainbows Pottery Studio and Veronica Robles Cultural Center (VROCC) welcome everyone to paint their own talavera piece in honor of the Day of the Death.

Talavera workshop, Paint Your Own Talavera Piece!

Rainbows Pottery Studio (15 R Charles Street, Boston, MA 02114)

Date: October 28, 2018.

Time: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Cost: $40, includes hot cocoa, one ceramic piece, paint, varnished, and baking.

Participants will learn what talavera is and will be able to paint ceramic pieces to use in their Day of the Dead offering. Among the pieces that can be decorated are plates, mosaics, and vases. There will be Mexican music to liven up and, to fight the cold, hot cocoa.

This year Rainbows Pottery Studio and VROCC have become community partners. Therefore, 20% of the proceeds will be donated to VROCC to continue offering free or low-cost cultural programs for the community.
