“VROCC ofrece una programación culturalmente pertinente con un enfoque en las habilidades socioemocionales y cognitivas del siglo XXI.”
Durante el programa semanal de enriquecimiento artístico después de la escuela y en verano, culturalmente pertinente, los niños y jóvenes —principalmente inmigrantes latino/a/x— aprenden y enseñan prácticas artísticas y culturales que afirman la identidad, contribuyendo a empoderar las identidades culturales de las comunidades a las que servimos.
Nuestros programas utilizan una perspectiva de justicia racial para enaltecer y celebrar las ricas y multifacéticas identidades culturales de nuestros estudiantes, de modo que puedan “expresar su ser más pleno y auténtico” en un entorno verdaderamente solidario.

Dance Program
This dance class teaches participants about the importance of one’s heritage through learning and performing ethnic folkloric dances.
Music Program
Our goal is to introduce children and youth to the amazing world of traditional musical expressions from their Latin American countries' cultures, while enhancing their knowledge and appreciation of their heritage and the Spanish language through music and songs. We also offer lessons to adults and seniors.
Art Program
VROCC’s Heritage Arts class serves as a space to create visual representations of the communities we serve, capturing its essence and reflecting beliefs that are deeply embedded within our students.
