SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2021.  FROM 1 TO 7:30 PM. BEHIND VERÓNICA ROBLES CULTURAL CENTER ON BORDER ST., EAST BOSTON. FREE EVENT FOR ALL.

Boston MA, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 – The Consulate General of Mexico in Boston and Veronica Robles Cultural Center (VROCC) cordially invite everyone to celebrate the Mexican Independence Day in Boston. 

Mexican Independence Day Celebration in Boston will happen outdoors behind VROCC on Border St. between Lexington St. and Saratoga St. in East Boston from 1 to 7 PM. There will be a walking parade starting at 12:45 PM, meeting point at Veronica Robles Cultural Center 282 Meridian St.

All are welcome to attend and enjoy delicious tacos, margaritas, micheladas, folkloric dances, DJ, mariachi youth and Veronica Robles accompanied by her full Mariachi band, the debut in Boston of the Mexican opera singer Edgard Ricaud and the Ballet Folklorico Guadalupo of Rhode Island. 

The event will include activities such as lottery rounds (Mexican Bingo), piñata, arts and crafts and Mexican products’ vendors; of course the civic ceremony of the traditional “Grito de Independencia: Viva Mexico” by the Consul General of Mexico in Boston, Alberto Fierro, accompanied by Bautista family, who will be escorting the Mexican Flag. Everyone is welcome!!

ATRÁS DE VERÓNICA ROBLES CULTURAL CENTER SOBRE LA BORDER ST.

ENTRADA GRATIS. 

Martes 7 de septiembre del 2021, Boston, MA – El Consulado General de México en Boston y el Centro Cultural Veronica Robles (VROCC) invitan a toda la comunidad a celebrar el aniversario de la Independencia de México en Boston. 

La Independencia Mexico en Boston se celebra al aire libre atrás de VROCC en la Border St. con deliciosos tacos, margaritas, micheladas, danzas folklóricas, música para bailar con el DJ Tavo,  el mariachi de jóvenes, Veronica Robles acompañada de su mariachi, el cantante de ópera mexicano Edgard Ricaud, Jossue Giron “El Rancherito de Oro” y el Ballet Guadalupano de Rhode Island; habrá actividades como rondas de lotería, piñata, dominio de pelota de fútbol vendedores de artesanías y productos mexicanos, desfile y corte de cinta para inauguración del evento. 

La ceremonia del tradicional Grito de Independencia estará encabezada por el Cónsul General de México en Boston, Alberto Fierro, con la participación de la escolta Niños Héroes, de la Familia Bautista.
